E-Commerce Rebuild & SEO Strategy: Teton Backcountry Rentals
A full WordPress/WooCommerce rebuild that transformed a search-invisible rental site into a scalable, product-level SEO engine for a Jackson Hole outdoor gear rental business.
The Problem
Teton Backcountry Rentals — a Jackson Hole business renting tents, sleeping bags, and camping gear to tourists — had a fundamental structural problem with their web presence. Their site consisted of a handful of branded pages that handed off to a third-party rental software platform. That third-party system was not indexed by search engines and generated no organic traffic, effectively making the majority of their product catalog invisible to anyone searching online.
The result: the business could only capture broad, high-competition queries like “outdoor gear rental Jackson Hole, Wyoming” — and nothing more specific. Every individual product was a missed search opportunity.

Strategy: Product-Level SEO at Scale
The core insight driving this project was that every rentable product represented an untapped SEO opportunity. By rebuilding the site on WooCommerce and integrating Booqable — a rental-specific platform that embeds natively into WooCommerce — each item in the rental catalog became its own optimized landing page: discoverable, indexable, and targeted to exactly the right search query.
Booqable allowed customers to check real-time product availability within their specific rental window directly on the site, removing friction from the booking experience while keeping everything within the branded WooCommerce environment.
